We’re proud to publicly launch EUmetriosis, a European research project working to transform how endometriosis is understood, diagnosed, and managed.
Despite affecting 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth, endometriosis remains one of the most under-researched and underfunded health conditions in Europe. Its physical, emotional, and economic impact is profound, yet far too many patients continue to face stigma, and dismissal, and delays in accessing the treatment and care they need.
EUmetriosis is taking a multi-pronged approach to address these critical gaps. Our work spans clinical research, data analysis, social science, and digital innovation, with the aim of improving diagnosis, treatment, and self-management of endometriosis.
At the heart of the project is a commitment to centering patient experience. With involvement from patient organisations and individuals with lived experience across Europe, EUmetriosis will explore how people with endometriosis manage their disease.
This website will be your go-to place for project updates, research insights, and stories from the people and partners driving change across the continent.
Together, we’re working toward a future where endometriosis is better understood, better supported, and no longer dismissed.
