Earlier this month, the EUmetriosis consortium came together in Brussels, Belgium for our very first General Assembly meeting.
This was a great opportunity to connect in person, share progress, and update one another on the next steps of the project. Teams from across the consortium presented updates on their work packages, highlighting current research activities and future plans.
The meeting kicked off with a look at patient and public involvement (PPI). We heard from two of our patient organisation representatives, Emma Cox at Endometriosis UK and Femke Jansen at Endometriose Stichting, about why meaningful patient partnership is essential, and how patient input helps to inform and shape our research.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a productive and inspiring meeting, and to our work this year. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to sharing more in 2026.
